There are basically two groups of people no matter where they are from (Saudi Arabia, Iraq, or Iran). The "Bedu" are one group, whose roots are in the tribal, nomadic life, and the "Hathar", whose roots are in the cities and non-nomadic lifestyles, whether or not they consider themselves tribal or not.
Don't listen to anyone who tells you that "Bedu" are heathens, uncivilized, disgusting, or whatever, because there is nothing further from the truth. While it is true that some of them still live a simple life, and no doubt some of their offspring are wild in the streets, they are probably the most wonderful, down to earth, honest people you will ever meet. You will find tempestuous youth from both Hathar and Bedu, and this is found all over the world. But, even most of the tempestuous youth from the Bedu side have been brought up with manners and respect for tradition. Unfortunately, due to lack of education, some children don't know how to behave in public, some don't have what Westerners would consider "good manners" and some take drugs and act in the deranged ways that drug takersact, but that is found in the hoodlum culture all around the world.
Basically if you appreciate people for what they are you will always find lovely, nice people. The Bedu and the Hathar of Kuwait are both lovely and nice (keeping in mind that there are good and bad people in every society) and if you consider their culture and traditions and respect them, they will also respect yours.
Nowadays you will find that both the Bedu and the Hathar are highly educated, with both groups proud of their doctors, educators, engineers, Olympians and the rest, so take in Kuwait as you would take in a lovely flowery aroma and savor it for what it is, benefit from its honey, while ignoring the bees that are flying around nearby.
